The children really enjoyed having the teachers from Italy and Sweden visit their classes. They taught the children how to count in Italien and Swedish, showed them traditional dances and sang songs. The children got the opportunity to compare and contrast life between Ireland and other countries. The Senior Classes learned about different customs in Italy and Sweden. The boys and girls also got the chance to educate the visiting teachers about their school and lifestyle in Scoil Íde. 1st class even displayed some Hurling skills!

We raised the Irish Flag and sang the National Anthem together.
