Green Schools

Green Schools' 2012

This year for our Green School we are saving water. We try not to waste water in art, using a toilet and washing our hands. We also have ticky charts for every time we flush the toilet and we also have a chart for washing our hands. John, our caretaker, takes two of the green school committee girls to check the water meter every week. We are trying to get our third green flag by doing this.

There are fourteen different people in the committee. We have a song about saving water it goes to the tune "We Will Rock You". Tomorrow we are all dressing up in green. Everyone in the school is joining in the event; we all will be singing "We Will Turn Of The Taps".

By Chloe and Anu in 6th class.
